Jes Holloway (b. 1986, Louisiana) is a multi-disciplinary 3D and 2D artist in Austin, Texas. She received her BFA from Sam Houston State University in 2021. Her multi-disciplinary art practice is a rooted in the joy of discovery through exploration of diverse materials, automatic drawing and sculpting processes, and immersion in real and imaginary landscapes. Her work is heavily inspired and impacted from her mother’s quilting practice, moving homes frequently as a child, her concern for our environment, and her experience of the world through the lens of ADHD. She produces work using a wide variety of materials and processes including fibers, clay, wire, collage, and assemblage.
